Step 1: Optionally choose a setting. Its description appears below the selector immediately and stays with the generated premise. Leave the setting empty when you want to define the world yourself.
Step 2: Choose a level tier that matches the party. This determines which adventure-situation table is used for the premise.
Step 3: Optionally choose a hook table if you want to control how the characters are drawn in. Leave it empty to get a random result from a hook table.
Step 4: Optionally choose an encounter-planner objective if you want to steer the type of scene you are building. Leave it empty to get a random encounter objective from the catalog.
Step 5: Click Generate. The builder fills premise, player hook, encounter plan, and climax.
Step 6: Reroll until the combination feels usable, then expand the result with other workbench tools.
